Yet if it was a GW2 server issue, one would think others outside of OZ would also be having problems. Solution that worked for me;Copying a GW2 exe from my other laptop that did not have any GW2 connection problems.If u dont have that, try downloading the GW2 setup version u want (32,64 or mac) and rename that accordingly.

It seems to be a problem with Amazon servers (at least in Europe). Look at this hop: 13 --- 50/ 50 =100% 0/ 50 = 0% 52.93.16.185 This IP is associated with an Amazon server in Dublin. I have been trying for 2 days now to get a playable connection. I'll try again this weekend and if I'm feeling really generous next weekend.

I think the most negative thing that I can come up with is that some people will be utterly lost. Not you or I, mind you -- we follow the game. I think GW2 offers a lot of depth and a minimal amount of direction (personal story and level being the only two that come to mind).
Skills stop working, obviously losing connection to the server as everyone around me starts running into a wall etc., for 5 to 10 seconds. Then I regain connection and everything works fine. Happens a few times every night. Is there any ports for Guild Wars 2 I should be opening, maybe setting up the QoS function on my router? Thanks.
217. Posted April 9, 2020. It has been quite laggy since my return to the game 4 days ago. I have experienced the extremely high ping (between 450-4,650) all day and all night despite the fitting internet connection . I can barely move my character to do anything in PvE including WvW (with or without a zerg around).
